Consequently, the mother shot her daughter in the forehead, resulting in her death.
After the incident, the woman went to the police herself, confessing to shooting her daughter. During interrogation, she broke down and revealed the entire plan. Subsequently, the police conducted a raid in Hazaribagh and arrested her sister-in-law, Sabir Ansari, who also serves as a member of the Panchayat Committee under Palkot North Panchayat.
An investigation team recovered the pistol and the fired bullet’s casing. Sabir Ansari admitted that an acquaintance had given her the pistol to keep. She was taken to Hazaribagh Jail while retaining possession of the weapon used in the crime. Another individual’s involvement has also surfaced in the case, leading to further impending arrests.
