Hyundai Motors is set to launch a new variant of its Hyundai i20 facelift in the Indian market, promising outstanding features. The Hyundai i20 Sportz (O) variant is anticipated to be a highly advantageous addition. Presently, the Hyundai i20 holds a significant position in the premium hatchback segment, offering numerous remarkable features.
However, there won’t be any changes in its design or engine options. It will continue to operate with its existing design elements. Currently, it comes in five variants: Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta(O).
Hyundai Motors plans to launch this variant as a mid-level offering, equipped with multiple features, aiming for a balanced alignment between amenities and pricing. Notably, this variant is expected to offer electronic sunroof, wireless mobile charging pad, and driver’s armrest among its special features
This new variant will be based on the Indian version, incorporating LED tail lamps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and electrically foldable and adjustable
Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs), automatic climate control, cruise control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and several other improved features.
Its top model will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and Apple CarPlay connectivity with Android Auto.
Hyundai i20 Sportz Variant Safety Features In terms of safety, it will come with rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and six airbags in the front. The top model will feature hill hold assist, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, a reminder for all passengers from three points, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Hyundai i20 Sportz(0) Variant Engine This new variant of the Hyundai i20 facelift will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine, generating 83 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. This engine option will come with a five-speed manual and CVT transmission.
