Precious metals have shown mixed trends in the Indian markets today. While gold is trading on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver rates have recorded a dip on Monday, January 1.
Gold futures, maturing on February 5, 2024, stood at Rs 63,288 per 10 grams on the MCX, after recording a marginal dip of Rs 85 or 0.13 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 63,203.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on March 5, 2024, witnessed a dip of Rs 111 or 0.15 per cent and were retailing at Rs 74,319 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 74,440.
